WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the distribution center material handling equipment (MHE). 

• Maintains safe, efficient and proper operation of a variety of distribution center equipment and systems.
• Establish and execute preventive maintenance plans for all MHE.
• Maintain all material handling vehicles (Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counterbalance and Pallet Jacks). 
• Evaluates departmental maintenance procedures, and makes changes to increase efficiency, improve accuracy, and/or reduce waste and expense.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and repair records for all equipment.
• Perform various maintenance and building improvement functions within the facility.
• Recommends and implements improvements to equipment, operations, and procedures as appropriate.
• Maintains and updates all documentation for safety and OSHA requirements.
• Assist with maintaining MSDS.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Must have prior experience working with powered conveyor, sorters, and forklifts.
• Willingness to work various shifts to meet business needs is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus.
• Minimum of three years as a maintenance mechanic 
• Excellent communication skills
• Moderate bending, stooping, and climbing mezzanine stairwells.
• Able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds, frequently required climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling and talking or hearing. Stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, expose to moving lifting equipment

Liberated Brands is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Costa Mesa, CA is $23/hr - $26/hr. This position is Hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location.
